			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The EADO was founded in 1997 as an organisation for international dancecompetitions by The Netherlands, Germany and Belgium. It&#8217;s main topic was to organise official European Championships, open to all levels of dancers, open to all European countries. Untill today, the following European Championships were held:</p>

<p>Adjudicators and competitors of The Netherlands, Friesland, Germany, Belgium, Poland, United Kingdom, Lithuania, Rumania, Estonia, Latvia, France have been entering the events. For information about EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS you are advised to see the yearpages.</p>
<p>STRUCTURE</p>
<p>The EADO is led by the MAIN PRESIDIUM, existing by the president and two vice-presidents. Beside the MAIN Presidium there is the PRESIDIUM, existing of a representative of every European country. This will be a person, appointed by the recognized member organisation of the country, or, until a representative organisation has been recognized, by an inhabitant of that country on request of the main presidium. Also there is the EXECUTIVE BODY, formed by a treasurer, and advisors from the Field (among them representatives from the adjudicators board and the scrutineering board) to advise the president.</p>
<p>The EADO was founded in 1997 with in the Main Presidium: mr. Jacob Meijer (president); mr. Thorsten Schrock-Opitz (vice-president); mr. Victor Colebunders (vice-president).</p>
<p>Today, the president of the EADO is mr. Jacob J. Meijer from The Netherlands.</p>
